Change Your Mind And Change Your Life This Week

Photo of Benjamin Zander by Erik Charlton Have you ever notice what all the top performers in a business sound like?

They sound VERY different.

They understand the context of the job as well as the job itself.  They understand the value that the function provides relative to the business.  They rise above day-to-day tasks, look at various strategic choices they can make and decide on the ones that carries the biggest impact to the rest of the operational chain.

They decided on how they are going to make a difference.  When you talk to them, you hear a lot of what they want to do and what they decide to do.  You hear thorough reasoning.  You hear a lot of passion because the path is clear to them.  You hear strength in their voices.  You hear a lot of direct sentence structures in their speech.  They are the masters of their universe.

That clarity of purpose driven by conscious choice is attractive.  It’s convincing.  It draws resources because it draws people.

Top performers sound very different because they use a more powerful mental construct.  That mental construct is literally just a thought a way : they are out to make things happen.

Change your mind and change your life this week.
